Commissioning Data Set XML schema

Commissioning Data Sets form the basis of data on activity carried out by organisations reported centrally for monitoring and payment purposes. They support the current Healthcare Resource Group version for calculation of payment to trusts and monitoring of other initiatives.

Release 6.2.3 (Emergency Care)

This release is useable from 1 November 2020.

Releases 6.2.1, 6.2.2 and 6.2.3 supplement the existing 6.2 release and allow submission of CDS011 (Emergency Care) CDS Type only. The 6.2 release will continue to be used for all current Commissioning Data Set type submissions.

The Information Standard was approved by the Data Coordination Board as DCB0092-2062 : Commissioning Data Sets: Emergency Care Data Set.

Release 6.2.2 (Emergency Care)

This release is useable from 1 April 2019.

We found that the format for POSTCODE OF USUAL ADDRESS was incorrectly specified for the Emergency Care Data Set: CDS release 6.2.2. This release of the XML schema replaces the original.

Releases 6.2.1, 6.2.2 and 6.2.3 supplement the existing 6.2 release, and allow submission of CDS011 (Emergency Care) CDS Type only. The 6.2 release will continue to be used for all current Commissioning Data Set type submissions.

The Information Standard was approved by the Data Coordination Board as DCB0092-2062 : Commissioning Data Sets: Emergency Care Data Set.

Release 6.2.1 (Emergency Care)

This release is useable from 1 October 2017.

We found that the original XML schema supporting CDS release 6.2.1 omitted the Net Delete Element which allows deletion of a record using the net change CDS Submission Protocol. A new release of the CDS XML schema release 6.2.1 was made to replace the original.

Releases 6.2.1, 6.2.2 and 6.2.3 supplement the existing 6.2 release, and allow submission of CDS011 (Emergency Care) CDS Type only. The 6.2 release will continue to be used for all current Commissioning Data Set type submissions.

The Information Standard was approved by the Data Coordination Board as DCB0092-2062 : Commissioning Data Sets: Emergency Care Data Set.
