Download technology reference files from the NHS and other trusted sources.
Follow these steps to get started:
- Create an account and sign in.
- Use the search box or browse the categories to find items.
- Subscribe to the items you need.
- Download the files for each subscription we've accepted.
Most subscriptions are accepted automatically. We manually check requests for some items.
You can also use our API to download files.

Upcoming addition of Trade Families information to dm+d
As part of the UK Medicines Terminology Futures work, the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) will begin maintaining and supporting Trade Family and Trade Family Group concept classes in the NHSBSA dm+d supplementary releases.
The NHS dm+d browser will also be updated to include Trade Families information.
These updates are planned to go live on Monday 6 July 2026.
