The Unified Test List (UTL) is a catalogue of SNOMED CT coded laboratory medicine test requests intended for use by Pathology services and their users across the NHS.
The UTL is still under development by NHS Digital and is part of the National Pathology Information Standards, supporting the NHS CCIO7 work streams.
The status of the UTL is ‘In Development’ as defined in the IReS Terminology Product Development Lifecycle (external PDF).
Find additional information on the National Pathology Information Standards work at the Pathology & Diagnostics Information Standards Collaboration Space.
As in release 0.2, the development of chemical pathology and biochemistry has continued.
As well as blood sciences content, a large set of allergen specific IgE antibody results has been added (allergen components and IgG content will follow).
The columns for substance, property, specimen and so on are included for information only - they will ultimately be used to formally classify the SNOMED content using the observable entity concept model.
