The last release before Christmas is on 22 December 2022. Weekly releases will resume on 5 January 2023.

The Organisation Data Service (ODS) are looking to move data from 3 practitioner CSV data files within the next 2 months. It would be really helpful if you could answer their survey, which should take 5 to 8 minutes.
ODS would also like volunteers to take part in some 20-minute user research sessions to help them improve the ODS website. Contact fran.evans2@nhs.net if you’d like to get involved.

A new release of item Organisation Reference Data is available.
Release 3.0.1
Updated quarterly release, August 2022.
The NHS Postcode Directory products in release 3.0.0 (26 August 2022) contain incorrect mappings and must be replaced.
If you have a dependency on these products and have implemented release 3.0.0, you must update your local copy to release 3.0.1 (this release) immediately.

In early 2021 ODS will introduce 7-character codes for all new dental practices.
Practices already coded as 6 characters will remain unchanged, so our data will have a mix of the current 6-character codes and the new 7-character codes.
A test file will be published before implementation, and details of this file will be included in our November 2020 newsletter.
