The Cancer Outcomes and Services Data Set provides a standard for secondary uses information required to support implementation and monitoring of the national cancer strategy.

Cancer Outcomes and Services Data Set XML Schema release 10-2-0

This release is useable from 1 April 2024.

Release 10-2-0 replaces release 10-1-0 and contains the following changes:

move HA8450 to the end of Haematological Care Plan Choice four i.e DLBCL
move HA9510 into a new Haematological Care Plan Choice seven i.e MantleCellLymphoma
leave behind HA9500 in Haematological Care Plan Choice six
rename Haematological Care Plan Choice six to Nodal T Cell Lymphoma
create a new Bronchoscopy Not Performed section for Lung ONLY
repoint CR9010 to the XmlType INT_NHS_3_LIMIT_100
Some upper limits where wrongly restricted for decimal values:
- CR6430 ⇒ min_length: 0.0, max_length: 9.99
- CR6440 ⇒ min_length: 0.0, max_length: 999.999
- CR6450 ⇒ min_length: 0.0, max_length: 99.9
- CT7800 ⇒ min_length: 0.0, max_length: 999.9
- HA9000 ⇒ min_length: 0.0, max_length: 99.9
- HA9000 ⇒ min_length: 0.0, max_length: 99.9
- LU10050 ⇒ min_length: 0.1, max_length: 9.99
- UR15070 ⇒ min_length: 0.0, max_length: 99999.9

The Information Standard was approved by the Data Allowance Partnership Board (DAPB) as DAPB1521: Cancer Outcomes and Services Data Set.
