This item is designed for NHS information departments and/or NHS system suppliers to upload into PAS systems, and to assist data analysts with the comparison of data collected according to ICD-10 5th Edition with that collected according to the ICD-10 4th Edition. These data files are neither designed nor intended for training purposes.
This release contains the updated ICD-10 5th Edition Codes and Titles and Metadata File Specification. All other files are identical to those published in the first release on 2 November 2015.
The ICD-10 5th Edition Codes and Titles and Metadata File GENDER_MASK metadata field has been changed from an absolute check to a scrutiny check in the updated ICD-10 5th Edition Codes and Titles and Metadata File Specification document. This change is explained in the Addendum (Amd 10/2014) on the NHS England website.
