Release 9.0.1 replaces release 9.0 and was developed to correct 5 errors found by system suppliers during the beta-testing phase. The changes are outlined in the “Change Log” section under “Overview”.
We recommend that system suppliers update their reporting tools as soon as possible, although for a short time XML data submissions using either release 9.0.1 or release 9.0.0 will be accepted by the National Cancer Registration and Analysis Service.
Due to the rapidly changing situation with Covid-19, the implementation date of the Cancer Outcomes and Services Data Set release 9.0.1 was deferred from 1 April 2020 to 1 July 2020.
The Information Standard was approved by the Data Coordination Board as DCB1521: Cancer Outcomes and Services Data set.
