Each release of this item contains the SNOMED CT UK Clinical Edition in Release Format 2 (RF2), Delta type only.
Each release includes the UK Clinical Extension and the International Edition, along with refsets, cross-maps and added-value content.
The Delta type includes only the changes since the previous release, including any new components.

Each release includes the RF2 Delta files, drug-only refsets and added-value content.
These releases do not include the SNOMED CT UK Clinical Extension or the International Edition.

SNOMED CT UK Clinical Edition Cross-map Historical Files, RF2: Full
Retired cross-map RF2 files, Full release type only.
There is a release per retired cross-map containing the extended map reference set release file and associated documentation.
The data contained within the releases are for reporting or data warehousing - the maps should not be used for live data processing. Active cross-maps can be found in the main Clinical Edition RF2 releases.

Release 6.2.3 (Emergency Care)
This release is useable from 1 November 2020.
Releases 6.2.1, 6.2.2 and 6.2.3 supplement the existing 6.2 release and allow submission of CDS011 (Emergency Care) CDS Type only. The 6.2 release will continue to be used for all current Commissioning Data Set type submissions.
The Information Standard was approved by the Data Coordination Board as DCB0092-2062 : Commissioning Data Sets: Emergency Care Data Set.

This release is useable from 1 November 2012.
Releases 6.2.1, 6.2.2 and 6.2.3 supplement this release, and allow submission of CDS011 (Emergency Care) CDS Type only. This release will continue to be used for all current Commissioning Data Set type submissions.
The Information Standard was approved by the Data Coordination Board as ISB0092: Commissioning Data Sets.
This XML Schema does not support the new Treatment Function and Main Specialty Codes introduced by DCB0028: Treatment Function and Main Specialty Standard - use the Schema in release 6.2.0 to submit these codes.
Emergency Care Data Set XML Schema version 4
This release is useable from 1 July 2023.
This is an update of the previous 20 January 2023 release (now withdrawn). It corrects the cardinality of the data group EXPECTED DATE AND TIME OF TREATMENT to match the NHS Data Model and Dictionary.
The Information Standard was approved by the Data Coordination Board as DCB0092-2062 : Commissioning Data Sets: Emergency Care Data Set.
Previous versions supplement the existing CDS062 version and allows submission of CDS011 (Emergency Care) CDS Type only.

Increasing SNOMED International description length limits

As SNOMED International has outlined, the change to the description length limits will be implemented in the 1 July 2026 International Edition release. It will take effect in the October 2026 SNOMED CT UK release.
